Hello Neighbors,

As many of you know, over the past two years we have had Saunders Lawn and Tree Service under a contract to maintain the landscape in front of the community for the minimal annual fee of $140, per household. Year one went well, we had good participation from the community, maybe two or three residences did not contribute. As a result, the contractor was willing to absorb the loss in order to further the relationship for the coming year. However, this year the participation has fallen off by quite a few. This decline in contribution has caused a real problem with honoring the contractual obligation set fourth to the tune of $1260.00. Over the past few months Sharon and I have delivered letters informing the community of the need to collect but, have gotten very little response.

I find posting is a fairly non-intrusive way to inform and seek feedback from the community in solving matters. Please provide your thoughts and recommendation regarding the three items below:

1.) Closing out this year's financial contract obligation;

2.) Maintenance of the landscape area at the entrance of our community in the coming year and beyond;

3.) bring the community together periodically to discuss community matters and fellowship.
